  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic minced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese optional
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar optional
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Place the seasoned Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 5 minutes, then remove the basket and shake it to toss the sprouts. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  • If using garlic, add it to the basket after the initial 10 minutes of cooking. Cook for 2-4 more minutes, until the sprouts are crispy and the garlic is fragrant.
  • Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl. If desired, toss with Parmesan, balsamic vinegar, or maple syrup. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispy Brussels sprouts, ensure they are in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.
