Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices deli roast beef thinly sliced
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese or your preferred cheese
  • 2 rolls sub rolls or sandwich bread toasted if desired
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise optional
  • 1 tablespoon mustard optional
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 1/2 cup lettuce shredded or leaves
  • to taste salt and black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Add the deli roast beef and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until warmed through.
  • Place a slice of cheese on top of the warmed beef in the skillet. Cover with a lid and let it melt slightly, about 1 minute.
  • Spread mayonnaise and mustard (if using) on the inside of the sub rolls or sandwich bread.
  • Layer the warmed beef and melted cheese onto the bottom half of each roll. Top with tomato slices, lettuce, and a sprinkle of salt and black pepper.
  • Place the top half of the roll on the sandwich and serve warm. Enjoy!
