A hearty and flavorful brisket sandwich featuring tender, slow-cooked brisket served on a toasted bun with your favorite toppings. Perfect for BBQ lovers!
Season the beef brisket generously with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and ground cumin on both sides.
Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of a slow cooker or Dutch oven. Lay the seasoned brisket on top.
Pour 1 cup of BBQ sauce over the brisket, ensuring it is evenly coated. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the brisket is tender and easily shredded.
Once cooked, remove the brisket from the cooker and shred it using two forks. Mix the shredded brisket with some of the cooking juices and additional BBQ sauce, if desired.
Assemble the sandwiches by placing a generous amount of shredded brisket on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with coleslaw, pickles, and extra BBQ sauce, if desired. Place the top bun on and serve immediately.
