  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20 preferred
  • 1/2 head cabbage shredded
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • to taste salt and black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces with a spoon.
  • Stir in the smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the beef in the spices.
  • Add the shredded cabbage to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve warm and enjoy!
