Instructions
Bring a saucepan of water to a rolling boil.
Gently lower the eggs into the boiling water using a slotted spoon.
Maintain a steady boil and cook the eggs for exactly 7 minutes.
Prepare an ice bath by filling a bowl with ice and water.
After 7 minutes, immediately transfer the eggs to the ice bath to halt the cooking process.
Let the eggs cool in the ice bath for about 3 minutes.
Gently tap the eggs to crack the shells and peel carefully under running water.
Serve the jammy eggs as desired, or store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Notes
