  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup kefir
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine the kefir, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.

Notes
