Equipment

  • Large baking dish
  • Aluminum foil
  • Basting Brush
  • Grill or oven

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 racks pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for heat
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce store-bought or homemade

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if it hasn't been done already. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Rub this seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
  • Place the ribs in a large baking dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
  • Preheat your grill or oven broiler to medium-high heat. Brush the ribs generously with BBQ sauce.
  • Grill or broil the ribs for 5-10 minutes, basting with more BBQ sauce as needed, until the sauce is caramelized and slightly charred.
  • Remove the ribs from the heat, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve. Enjoy!

Notes

These Party Ribs pair well with classic sides like coleslaw, baked beans, or cornbread. Adjust the cayenne pepper for a milder or spicier kick. Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or on the grill.
