  • 1 loaf sourdough bread sliced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley or fresh, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the slices of sourdough bread using a pastry brush or spoon.
  • Arrange the bread slices on the prepared baking sheet. If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of each slice.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm as a side dish or snack. Enjoy!
